Ring in the New Year with sophistication at our New Year’s Eve celebration on December 31st at LON's at The Hermosa Inn. Choose from two elegant seatings: the first from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM or the second from 7:30 PM onward. Delight in a luxurious four-course dinner complete with an amuse-bouche, and enjoy live music from 7 PM to 12:30 AM. Lead Sommelier Brian Downey will also be offering one-of-a-kind wine pairings to enhance your experience. Beverage not included. Pricing is $195++ per person for the first seating and $225++ per person for the second seating. Wine pairings are an additional $100++ per person.

First, we’ve been going to Lon’s since we first came to AZ 30+ years ago. It’s the quintessential AZ restaurant. We’ve taken countless visitors from out of town there and spent multiple birthday dinners there. I’ve hosted holiday parties there. It awesome to sit outside. The service is great and the food is very good. BUT, the prices have just gotten absurd. $60-65 for an entree. One of our friends had a beet salad which was $18. They asked if they could add protein. Of course. Additional $33 for a few scallops. There are very few places in phoenix that command those types of prices, like cafe monarch. But there, it’s really a 5 star experience. While Lon’s is quintessential, it’s not 5 star. I’m going to have to think next time friends are in town, whether it’s worth the additional cost to go there. There are other wonderful places that have more reasonable prices. I can afford it, but will I? It just didn’t seem right.

Patio dinning was fantastic. Great ambiance. The salmon was not very fresh and overcooked. The short ribs were very average and tasteless. The seabass and the venison loin were both fantastic. So the batting average was 50-50. For the price I would expect an amazing meal.

We celebrate my Mother Inlaw’s Birthday. She absolutely loved it & the ornament martini as well!! Plus the staff gave her a wonderful Birthday card too.

Outstanding romantic, mainly outdoor restaurant with high quality, creative dishes. Filet and seared tuna, Hermosa salad and Brussel sprouts and the cowboy snickers bar for dessert with a fountain, musician and heaters.

Food was delicious and the sommelier was the highlight of the night. Super thoughtful and energetic and helped up get the best wine.

I hate posting exceptional reviews as it just makes reservations more difficult. Lon's is as consistently superior as any Valley restaurant. And it's one of the most picturesque. So much for my next reservation!

Lon’s is just lovely. Quiet in the AM and picks up a bit with the brunch crowd around 11am. I love the peaceful patio ambiance with crackling fires, birds chirping, and beautiful landscape. Food was delicious and service was superb. We had made a reservation so they had set up heaters to warm up our our table for 7 in advance. We lingered a while and they were very accomodating with adjusting the heaters, adding unbrellas as the sun was shifting positions, and refilling drinks constantly. Our waiter and all the staff were great.
