L'Opossum offers dinner Tuesday-Saturday for parties of one to a maximum of six guests. Multiple reservations booked on the same night to form a group larger than six guests are not permitted and will be canceled. Reservations for parties of one to four guests are allotted 2 hours. Parties of five to six guests are allotted 2.5 hours. Please be courteous to your fellow diners by arriving and leaving on time.     This was our 4th trip to L'Opposum and it was generally enjoyable. The appetizers are always exceptionally good. The escargot is one of the best appetizers we have had anywhere, bar none. Two of our entrees were excellent (Lamb and Coq au Morroco) but unfortunately the Swank Bank Lobster was way overcooked, chewy and generally lacked taste. The ambiance, music and decorations are always fun. And our service was impecable. Our server was incredibly good at describing the food and cocktails. It was like watching a food blog!

    What a delightful evening that did not disappoint! The service was top-notch, and the food was creative and cozy on a cold night. The restaurant is a feast for the eyes and the staff is very professional and friendly.

    Fabulous as always! The eggnog and duck confit appetizer were wonderful as well as our main entree-Beef Swellington! Another memorable meal at our favorite restaurant!

    L’Opossum is an absolute gem—one of those places that surprises you in the best way possible. From the outside, you’d never guess what awaits behind that entrance curtain, but once you step through, it’s like walking into a world of playful, elegant, cheeky charm. We came here to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and it was a night to remember. The food was exceptional—beautifully presented and literally bursting with flavor. Every dish was perfectly crafted, and the creativity spoke volumes about the pride and passion behind the menu. The staff was fantastic. There was nothing stuffy here. Our waiter struck that perfect balance of attentiveness without hovering, making the whole evening for our daughter feel special. The atmosphere is something else entirely. It’s daring, cozy, and welcoming. If you’re looking for a dining experience that’s fun, delicious, and just a little unexpected in a fun way, L’Opossum is where you need to be. It's our new Richmond favorite.
