L'Opossum offers dinner Tuesday-Saturday for parties of one to a maximum of six guests. Multiple reservations booked on the same night to form a group larger than six guests are not permitted and will be canceled. Reservations for parties of one to four guests are allotted 2 hours. Parties of five to six guests are allotted 2.5 hours. Please be courteous to your fellow diners by arriving and leaving on time.     Terrific food, well prepared and delightfully presented. Attentive service all evening. Noise level was muted by soft hangings and high backed booths.

    We had pretty high expectations going in given its reputation, but this restaurant exceeded our expectations in terms of taste of each bite! Amazing!

    This is one of the finest dining experiences the City of Richmond has to offer. Chef David and his staff do an incredible job preparing exquisite food in a comfortable setting. The service is elite.

    Amazing experience always! From the ambiance to the service, it is stellar! Christian was exceptional. We travel every year from Fort Lauderdale to Richmond for this restaurant alone. Highly recommend!

    My meal (vegan braised cabbage on a bed of vegetables and mashed potatoes) was one of the best meals of my entire life. L'opossum is truly one of the best restaurants in Richmond. An appetizer, 3 entrees and a soup was $180, but it was worth it for special occasion. Our server Devin was amazing and helpful to all of our food restrictions.

    How to describe my favorite restaurant in Richmond and one of my favorites of all time...the experience starts once you walk in. The music, the art, the names of the dishes on the menu. For a few seconds the sounds and sights are like a roller coaster running full steam, but then everything settles into place and your visit begins to flow. Fresh truffle service tableside? This is the place to do that. Mac and Cheese with Maine Lobster and that truffle service? Sign me up. Swashbuckling Bundt Pirate cake served on a classic Aquaman plate for desert? Yes please. Just don't forget to get your reservation in well in advance. Dress code isn't stuffy, but leave the ball cap in the car.

    Great as always but time for a menu change.Had soup special, French onion gratin, crab cakes and halibut, and chocolate dessert. The soup special was delicious!
