   We had amazing service, excellent food and drinks, and the dessert was absolutely amazing! Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

   The poor ambience rating is because we sat next next to a big table with 6 screaming kids. This is the fault of the parents, but it really took away from our first experience at this legendary restaurant. They were out of control. Our server was wonderful. Food was great. We should have asked to move our table like the people next to us.

   We chose Lou and Mickey’s for a reunion with dear cousins from out of state. The restaurant was a reminder of the days of relaxed, fine dining. Our Server, Natalie, was excellent and guided us through the experience. The food was excellent, the ambience was comforting and welcoming.

   Overall, a great traditional, American steakhouse. They’ve added quite a bit of seafood to the menu and it’s all super fresh. Only thing stopping them from getting full five stars from us was the artichoke appetizer was severely overcooked and very dry, and the wine sauce served with the Fillet medallions was not cooked down, so it was very acidic. But overall a true pleasure. Our waiter was Jay, he was everywhere at all times for multiple tables and never stopped working and being a part of everyone’s meal. I thought he did fantastic.

   Excellent! It was my birthday and they went above and beyond! I received a birthday card at the table and a free dessert. Food was amazing!
