It had been a bit of time since I’d moved away from Cos Cob/Greenwich. So it was super that my daughter snd I were able to once again have a fun dinner at Louie’s. It looked great, the service was friendly and attentive, the Valet Parking fellows greeted us very nicely and we were delivered to the table we requested by a lovely hostess. I remembered the menu well and we had some old favorites. The wedge salad and beef carpaccio to start followed by the Chicken Portofino and a classic Chicken Romana with added artichokes. A wonderful reunion at Louie’s and we will be back with much less of a hiatus.

Louies is a great local spot and is quite popular. We had an 8:00 p.m. reservation and had to wait about 20 mins for a table even at that time. The wait isn't a problem tho because the bar is a fun place to hang out. Service is usually very good and the food is excellent. Some items are a little pricey for what they are but nothing that keeps us from returning again and again! It can be noisy in the bar especially so we usually opt to sit in the dining room which is a little quieter.

Just a pleasurable, local haunt, friendly service, good food in a cozy atmosphere and manager Pav’ is always super friendly, while assuring everyone has a nice evening!!
