On New Year's Eve we will be serving our regular dinner menu a la carte with a few exceptions and a few additions. Still taking reservations.

Lucca has become one of the most talked about restaurants in Boston. Zagat survey named them, Best New Italian Restaurant and they won a coveted Best of Boston award for their elegant and lively bar. They are also the recipient of the Wine Spectator award of excellence with distinction. The upstairs was very load, and the downstairs a bit better. The food was excellent, the service was very good considering how busy they were. The valet parking was disappointing. It was very difficult as the did not have a person at the door and I needed to jump out, stop traffic and run inside holding up traffic and then the inside person needed to run down the street to grab the valet and when they saw my F150 pickup they said I needed to pay double or $60 when it is advertised at $22 for valet parking WTF?

Pretty lackluster. Rigatoni felt like it was a Sysco product. Prices listed on Open Table menu must be old as they are lower than the menu we got at the restaurant. Nothing special overall, but it was pretty lively and nice to visit the North End.

Great atmosphere and attentive staff. They surprised us with an anniversary dessert, which was very thoughtful.There was a little hiccup with the gluten-free dishes, but they fixed it promptly. I would definitely go back there again.
