On New Year's Eve we will be serving our regular dinner menu a la carte with a few exceptions and a few additions. Still taking reservations.

Lucca has become one of the most talked about restaurants in Boston. Zagat survey named them, Best New Italian Restaurant and they won a coveted Best of Boston award for their elegant and lively bar. They are also the recipient of the Wine Spectator award of excellence with distinction. Nothing we ate had any flavor whatsoever. Even the focaccia bread they served was flavorless and hard! We ordered the bolognese and the fettuccine and mushroom pastas and we could not finish either dish. Both were flavorless with overcooked noodles. Truly horrible and I will never return.

We visited the restaurant with some friends visiting town. Dinner started with very mediocre bread, some type of stale focaccia that had seen better days. For appetizers we got a beef carpaccio that could have used fresh lemon (instead of dip fried pieces of it) and some olive oil. We also got mussels which were just crazy! while the description of them said chorizo, what we saw in there were hotdogs, plain and simple (and salty). The rest of the meal, meaning the main courses were just ok. This is not fine dining and I wish the prices reflected that. We decided to skip dessert to avoid more dissapointments. The staff at the restaurant were attentive and very kind, we always had cold water and appropriate silverware... we won't be back!

I took myself out for an early dinner on New Year’s Eve and Rita and the rest of the gang made me feel like a regular local! It was such a special experience and it meant so much to me!

Food and menu are very limited. Unable to deviate from anything even when allergic. Place would be good if they were flexible

Beautiful table by the window. Sat right at our reservation time, it was dark but not too dark. Really good date spot. The food was unreal, the wine suggestion was also super good and very different for us.
