Guests can enjoy courtyard dining in the charming walled garden and private meals in our lovely first floor room. My husband and I have been searching for a restaurant for Sunday lunch for some now we’ve found it. And what a wonderful experience! There is nothing that we could fault at Lussmanns,Harpenden. Every aspect of our experience there was perfect. I had not thought when I booked to alert the staff that my husband is partially disabled, in that he finds it hard work to walk any significant difference. This doesn’t usually matter as he can walk about 50 m with support from me. We have a wheelchair in the car and and we would use it as appropriate. Today our progress from car to restaurant, a very small distance, was hampered by the fact that the ground was very slippery. Anyway, we made it! And what a joy eating at Lussmans was. The service was impeccable, the staff could not have been more helpful. The food was out of this world delicious, the ambience was quiet despite the restaurant being busy……what’s not to like? As we were leaving we told the lovely man who helped Ken into his wheelchair that we would award them 125 out of 100 and that we would most certainly be back. Indeed we have now decided that we will eat there every Sunday lunchtime if possible. Very well done, Lussmanns Harpenden

A busy night with staff who had to rush around but they were pleasant nonetheless. Very noisy at times and value wise I thought at the top end. Not sure the overall experience justified the cost, but a pleasant evening overall

Cheers Andy Understood. We do offer a great "locals" set menu till 6.30 pm daily - £23.95 for 3 courses. Furthermore ethics and sourcing from good farms does I am afraid cost a little more than some of our competitors. Best Andrei L

Excellent quality food. Lussmans really does make the best fish cake! Another member of our group tried the chicken fricasee and noted that the sauce was mesmerising! We also love the non alcoholic cocktails, especially Wilfried’s Spritz and Soft Passionfruit Martini. Lovely table service throughout the evening bring both attentive dnd not feeling like we had to rush to get the table cleared.
