Lyon Hall has been a favorite for a number of years now. The menu is good and there are always some seasonal changes which keeps it interesting. That said, the food has always been great, service is good, the setting is comfortable, and it is close to home making it even better for me.

Again, an excellent experience at Lyon Hall. After a round of French 75s followed by French onion soup as a first course, my wife enjoyed the mushroom risotto (with a glass of sauvignon blanc), and I enjoyed the rack of lamb (with a glass of cabernet sauvignon). We concluded with the gingerbread roulade and espresso martinis. The food and drinks fired well in all regards. The service was also excellent. Thanks to the kitchen and the team at Lyon Hall for a very nice evening.

The team at Lyon Hall was so kind and gracious in helping us celebrate my dad's birthday and accommodating my request to have an outside cake. The service was absolutely excellent and the food was really delicious. The tuna pappardelle and the Thai mussels were standouts. Thank you so much for giving my dad a great experience.

Had a group lunch here and it was great. The food was excellent. I’ve been coming here since they opened and the quality has been consistent for more than a decade - the best fries and free bread and butter anywhere!

Had lunch with a friend. Hangar steak with pomme frites was quite tasty and my companion enjoyed his chicken sandwich. Complimentary bread and butter was good. Service was prompt and attentive.

Honestly, I chose to have dinner at Lyon Hall tonight because it’s consistently good. Tonight was an exception. Our server was overloaded with tables and big parties so it wasn’t necessarily his fault but it was still disappointing when you are paying $17/cocktail & $36 for an entree. It took 20 minutes to get a drink, steak & frites didn’t have a side of bearnaise sauce, and the fries weren’t the frites they used to serve. I asked for the bearnaise sauce & the manager brought out what looked like a ramekin of butter. It was solid. I jokingly showed the server who said he told the chef and that the chef was making more???? Was he making a batch of bearnaise sauce? I don’t know but I never did see any bearnaise sauce which was a bummer. Their dessert menu has improved from a few months ago…thank goodness. I hope the Chef, servers & managers get the kinks out because I would hate to lose Lyon Hall. Bring back the skinny frites. Bring back the burgundy steak sauce. Bring the bearnaise sauce that comes with every steak entree and hire more servers. Tis the season to be busy!
