Farm-to-table and authentic New Orleans cuisine come together in the French Quarter at M bistro, where the chefs take an indigenous approach to the preparation of meats, seafood and produce from farmers in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi and Alabama. Three velvet-draped semi-private “Cheater’s Booths” and a private Wine Room offer additional venues for a special meal.

Our restaurant and lounge are conveniently located on the third floor lobby level of The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans.

Families and friends are invited to a Gingerbread House Building Experience. Packages are $225++ per house and include (1) Gingerbread House, decorating essentials, 2 aprons, 2 chef hats and holiday refreshments. (Additional aprons and hats are available for purchase at the event.) Each package accommodates up to 4 guests. $30/guest will be charged for 5th and 6th guests per house. If your party exceeds 6 guests, you are required to book another package. A credit card is required to book reservation, however, the bill is presented and processed on the day of the event and limited to (1) method of payment per party. A cancellation fee will be charged to the card on file for any reservations not cancelled within 72 hours

the experience my family had at the restaurant was very disappointing. Service was extremely slow. Food was not up to par by any means by Ritz Carlton especially the New Orleans, Louisiana location. We will not come back again. Such a waste of money. we spent almost $900 there with my family and it was a total waste.

It was all good. We are locals and enjoyed the food and ambiance. Latrisa was our server. She had a great sense of humor, and was attentive. The food variety was good. The chia seed pudding was outstanding.

We booked M Bistro for Thanksgiving dinner. Our thought was that it's the Ritz; surely they'll take good care of us. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience. Our waiter wasn't great. That's probably an understatement. I have a shellfish allergy (I know, New Orleans and shellfish allergies aren't a good combo), and he didn't fully recognize the difficulty I would face with the all seafood appetizer spread. Since he had mentioned family style service, and since one of the appetizers was a salmon crudo, I told him I would be fine if they all came out on separate plates. I specifically asked him if they came on one plate or separate plates, and he indicated that they came out separate plates. In fact, they came out plated plated for each individual, all on one plate each. I had to speak with a manager after that to impress upon them the seriousness of food allergies. Our waiter, in a very un-New Orleans fashion, wasn't at all curious whether we would like anything to drink after we finished our welcome cocktails. Despite looking at my empty glass numerous times, he merely went on his way until I finally suggested that we might like wine with our dinner. Finally, when our main course came out, I was presented with a separately plated, allergen free, plate. My family were served family style. I'll say that my turkey and cranberry sauce were good, as was my short rib pasta. Their turkey and stuffing didn't come out at all. We waited, a little aghast, for some time, and I finally had to ask him whether they still had food coming. He said yes and wandered off, only to wander back to figure out what they were missing. Had I not asked, my family wouldn't have had turkey on Thanksgiving. And the kicker was an 22% holiday auto-grat. 22% is a little higher than I normally tip. And I don't mind auto-grat when they earned it, but in this case the service was lousy and the 22% was not deserved. I would not trust M Bistro with a significant dining event ever again.

Thanksgiving dinner was inconsistent with advertised offering. No music, no dessert station, no champagne, family style offering for 2 diners was too much mediocre food. Seafood appetizers were skimpy. A far cry from Thanksgiving dinners and buffets of the past. Will not be returning for Thanksgiving dinner here.

My wife, our granddaughter, and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner experience. Ayanna (and others servicing our table) could not have been more engaging and gracious. This may well become a Thanksgiving tradition for us.

We had just arrived in NOLA for 5 days and came here for dinner after just arriving. It was a fun, lively place with good food. Our waiter, Michael, was very good. Great choices were fried oysters, pork chop (yum) and smoked fish. Very good food.
