It was a special occasion and boy did we pick the perfect place. Arrived on time and were seated right away, then we were greeted by our waiter Ordered drinks and our appetizers were French Onion soup, with our entrees being scallops and filets. Wow everything was delicious and maybe the best that we have ever had. Five stars on food and service!!

French onion soup was perfect mix of onions, mushrooms, cheese and beef consommé. Dry German Riesling wine was smooth and light we sat on the back covered patio in front of the fireplace and had views of the ducks and geese on the lake. They seemed to be short staff today for brunch. It was busy but not at full capacity. We mentioned in open table it was my birthday and to the waiter and hostess yet no birthday wishes or discounts. The staff appeared rushed. The chicken and Brie warmed sandwich was good over all but they were a bit too light with the jam on slices of thick bread. My husband had the Smoked Salmon Benedict with generous portion of buttery avocado and smoked salmon yet light on Hollandaise sauce, which they did bring more when requested it, yet oddly did not toast the English muffin as part of the Benedict. What really surprised me was being offered the dessert menu which we pursued and we had decided to try the crème brulee cheesecake to take home as a treat and the waiter basically picked up the dessert menu walking quickly by our table never asking if I had selected a choice for dessert and returned with our bill instead and kept on walking by to other tables. Which really shocked me and I decided to not chase after him and ask for it to be added to our tab. As I observed the staff seemed to be in a rush and overwhelmed a bit. We spoke to other people who had just left their table said they often came there and ordered the Caesar salad and added the lobster from the roll -minus the roll. I will return and give this place another chance and order something different and try dinner service versus brunch next time, but honestly I was bit disappointed for my first experience as was my husband with his Smoked Salmon Benedict.

Reservation was for Christmas Eve and it was very delightful. They presented a smaller menu but enough variety to easily make choices. We shared their charcuterie board which was excellent. I asked for a particular wine which they didn’t have, but the server was knowledgeable and suggested an equal substitute. For main entree, I had Dover Sole. Nice presentation and although a little lemony, it was still delicious. This is a beautiful restaurant, especially during the day when you can enjoy the view of the lake. Highly recommend!

Yes it was Christmas Eve but only half the restaurant was filled. Took forever to get our food and soup was barely lukewarm - it was very tasty so that helped make up for it. They have a bad wind issue with cold air blowing in and then the heater was out of gas that was next to our table. Made for a very uncomfortable experience. There were plenty of staff but must have been short in the kitchen. We had the Christmas menu so they should have been prepared for it. Still don't know why it took so long to even get our check to leave.

SERVICE WAS FANTASTIC, THE GOAT CHEESE APPETIZER, BEEF TARTAR AND ESCARGOT WERE ALL PHENOMENAL! THEY HAVE AN AMAZING SELECTION OF WINES IN THEIR WINE SHOP THAT THEY SELL AT RETAIL PRICES! THEIR HAPPY HOUR IN THE BAR IS GREAT TOO!

It is one of my Must Go places when I visit my family in Las Vegas. The restaurant is beautiful and you don't feel like you're in the city. The food is always beyond amazing.
