Marino Ristorante is deeply rooted in Hollywood since the late 1950’s when Ciro (Mario to friends) Marino landed in Hollywood and has ever since had generations of who’s who in the movie, record, art, political and business LA community at his tables. Today it is still family owned and given its warm welcome flavor by the second generation of Marinos, Mario in the dining room and brother Sal in the kitchen.

The decor is modern and comfortable with memorabilia from a 60 year career which all come together to create its appeal. Described by many marrying the quintessential NY Italian in Los Angeles for its history coupled with today’s seasonal menu, highlighting the best locally sourced ingredients and top notch freshest seafood available.

                                                                                          Even though we have left California, when we are back we find a reason to visit Marino. Mario and Sal are the best, as is the wait staff especially Andrea. We shared the cassonetti with shaved truffles and the grilled calamari salad. With a glass of wine and a basket of their delicious bread it was perfect meal.

                                                                                          Marino's is one of my favorite places to celebrate life . The ambiance is exceptionally warm and welcoming. The staff is competent and friendly. The food is truly exceptional and seasonally driven. There's the feeling of sitting in a good friend's home enjoying a superb meal together. I have NEVER been less than thrilled with my experience.

My husband is a very discerning diner and says.. this is the best Napolitan food and the best Italian restaurant in all of los angeles. From the moment you walk in and are greeted warmly by Mario, to our amazing server Andrea, the wonderful bus boys, and the most scrumptious, delicious and refined meal served by the amazing & wonderful chef Sal. It's not only that you are made to feel at home, but the food is mind blowingly delicious.

                                                                                          Marino Restaurant continues to deliver the very BEST in Italian cuisine! Absolutely everything on the menu is DELICIOUS. You’re treated like family the moment that you walk through the door . There’s definitely a reason why this quaint Italian neighborhood restaurant has been thriving since the 80’s. Highly recommend for ALL occasions.

                                                                                          Unassuming from the street but once you get inside, it’s quite nice. waiters are excellent. Best Italian food I have come across in Los Angeles- worth every penny! Even the valet had a nice personality. Everyone makes you feel welcome.
