We had an excellent experience. Our server was delightful and did a great job of answering all of our questions and steering us towards wonderful selections. Our choices were delectable and delicious. Our drink and dessert choices were great compliments to our entree selections.

Food and service is top tier. Just sit back and enjoy! Remember to order your steaks properly so they do not come out to rare. A fine option for couples is to order a filet and the sea bass and then share! A great way to taste two meals at once. Manager is observing everything and will make sure your service is excellent! Thank you Mason Street Grill staff!

Oh thing. We were going to be seated in the kitchen area which was loud and noisy. We were on our 48 year New Year’s Eve date. I would not sit in that area we could not hear each other talk. We were dressed and shoving us in the corner was not going to happen. I told the hostess I would not sit there and we were moved to another two table. I appreciated that. I loved listening to the piano.

Have written 3 other reviews on the Mason Street Grill, so will summarize: We’ve visited the MS Grill numerous times over the last 10-12 years, always reviewed as very good to excellent. However, this time we were very disappointed. Service was poor (might hv bn due to a significant amount of chatting in the kitchen; I don’t mean typical talking while working, I mean stop-work talking/yakking!!), the food was generally cold, overly salted and not very well presented. Due to an allergy, there are a shortened number of items I can eat, slow night and 2 if the 4 were sold out at 5:30pm - really?? We usually stick around for coffee or drink, but left as soon as I could pay the bill. I hate having to describe a place like this that we hv liked for years, but felt like something was just off- we will try again next year, only the once!

The brunch was ok. The food - for brunch was quite over priced. Our bill for two people was $160. The dinner at this restaurant is very good but I don’t think I would repeat brunch. Cost is not worth it

The Mason Street Grill is always a good experience. We arrived early to have a drink in the bar and listed to a great jazz trio. We had a reservation and our table was ready when promised. The service was great & the food was perfect. And, the manager made the rounds to be sure all patrons were happy. Can’t wait to go back.
