The Hau Tree restaurant, on the grounds of the Mauna Key Beach Hotel serves modern American fare with global flair, in its gorgeous beachside setting. As a starter, enjoy the panko dusted crab cakes with Asian guacamole and spicy aioli or the kalua pork quesadilla with papaya and tomato relish. House specialty entrees include the mahimahi with miso butter sauce and coconut rice, the barbecue glazed pork baby back ribs with hoisin chili barbecue sauce, and the half pound veggie burger with alfalfa sprouts on a brioche bun. The Hau Tree also serves a delicious breakfast, where items range from sweet pastries to savory quiches. Enjoy your delicious meal in paradise with one of the Hau Tree’s tropical cocktails, such as the pahoehoe, a tantalizing concoction made with Bacardi rum, passion fruit juice, lime and grenadine.
