The only lakeside dining in the greater Palm Springs area, Mélange, located in the luxury boutique hotel, the Chateau at Lake La Quinta, offers exquisitely prepared food using only the finest ingredients procured from small California family farms.                                               This was our first visit in over a year because of a not too good previous experience. We decided to give it another try. The food was very good and the servers very attentive. It’s such a beautiful setting sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. The fire pits were lit and there were plenty of heaters so we were very comfortable. It’s a shame there were only two other tables with guests on a Friday night during season. We did not feel the presence of a manager on duty. The young man sitting at the front desk was more interested in looking at his phone than his job. We will go back.

                                              Everything was wonderful. The Food. Of course Jasmine is The Best. Always the first place I want to go when we return to The Desert from Alaska. But I'm so disappointed they will no longer be serving Lunch. Hoping they reconsider

                                              Our table by the lake had tons gnats flying over us and into our water glasses. We moved tables and there were fewer gnats, but there were large gross bugs like beetles here and there. One went on my shoe and then I lost my appetite and could not wait to leave. The meals were just okay with small portions with a limited menu. One and done!

                                              Nice table on the patio over looking the lake. Nice view, a serene setting as we dined and enjoyed the evening. Mario our server was helpful and attentive. 👍🍷

                                              Lured by the description of dining lakeside was a huge fail! A swarm of gnats hovered over the tables, the area was tired and unkept, and needed a good cleaning. We should have walked out from the start but thought to give them a chance. OH BOY! The food was sub par, more like Swanson’s TV styled, only not nearly as good. Go there if you don’t have any tastebuds!

                                              A charming Chateau resturant, we dined indoors due to excessive heat. It overlooks a private marina with beautiful homes on the water. The salmon & short rib were delicious.
