Meridian Restaurant and Bar is located in the Meridian Street Historic District on the north side of Indianapolis. Meridian is a fine dining establishment serving innovative American cuisine. Our menu incorporates regional American and international flavors sure to please any palate and offers a selection of natural beef, fresh fish, pork, chicken, and pastas.                                                           Great food, service and ambience. I had salmon and it was perfectly cooked. Our group also had the always favorite boar bolognese and the pork cheeks. Everyone loved their meal and we topped it off with the delicious coffee and donuts dessert.

                                                          We ordered the Meridian Burger. One of us ordered it "plain" with only the burger and the cheese. One of us ordered as on the menu. The plain one was delicious - the one ordered as on the menu was too "cheffed" up. There was some sort of pulled meat on top of the burger which had too much spice (not hot - just too many flavored spices) and too "wet" for the burger. Made the bun VERY wet and hard to handle by hand. 2 ordered the pasta with bolognaise. The sauce was spicy and not noted on the menu, and had a very distasteful character - to us! The pasta was tasty but seemed to be stuck together. Recommendation - ask questions before you order and/or order all of the noted toppings on the side - just in case.
