Meritage Restaurant is located in the quaint historic Glendale Square, creating a unique ambiance for any occasion. The eclectic menu features fresh seafood, hand cut steaks, specialty sandwiches, and an impressive variety of salads. Each menu item from the salad dressings to the desserts is made in house using only the freshest ingredients. The wine list features wines from around the world that have been personally selected to compliment the menu. Group of 7 that changed to 6 and for some reason we were sat upstairs. Atmosphere is not the same as on the main floor. There was one table of 4 in the front and then us along with one other table of 6 that included one very rambunctious and LOUD toddler in the main large and dark room. The family had no control over the squeeling toddler who was up and dowb running around the room. They stayed and stayed the he entire 2 hours we were there leisurely over drinks, meal, dessert. Our children are grown but I promise you I would have left at a reasonable time, sent over a bottle of wine or dessert or even just an apology. It was a ruff.

We went on $4 beer night, Thursday. Even though I don't drink, they have N/A beer too. We each had their specials: trout and ribs. My husband loved the trout and I loved the ribs. My favorites there are their homemade soups. Our waitress was Sarah...she is always fantastic.

Wonderful dinner experience. Quick and thorough service throughout our dinner. This was a first for our party of 10 and everyone was delighted with their meals.

"Sam" was our server and could not be better. Everything was good, and meals came out quickly. A value for the neighborhood.

Nice salad to start( their own), the prime rib was outstanding as was the baked potato, the carrot cake was amazing. We,ll be back for sure

I came for lunch on a Friday with a Ladies Over 50 Meetup group. Our waitress, Vicky, was excellent. Atmosphere was wonderfully quaint and peaceful. Our food was very good and reasonably priced for a slightly upscale restaurant. I highly recommend this beautiful gem in the heart of Glendale.

We always love this restaurant and are there any time we’re in town. Steven is absolutely incredible and the food is out of this world. Such a gem!
