   Merrick Inn is one of our favorite restaurants in Lexington because the food and service are always great and the ambiance is legendary. My only wish is that it wasn't so loud but there is little that can be done about that. The patio is amazing too, and really shines this time of year

   Brunch was fabulous! I think I won the day with the Avocado Toast and Arugula Salad. Just a splendid combination. Beautiful to see and to consume!! We were celebrating our son's birthday, so he landed a blonde brownie that had salted caramel. So nice. We always love a visit to Merrick Inn.

   Great setting and great menu for Sunday brunch. Service was outstanding- Sandy was attentive to our group throughout the meal.

   Took awhile to get the right food items we ordered to our table. At first, they brought the same sides that 1/2 people ordered and not what each person ordered. The gravy was cold and not even warm. Everything else for brunch was delicious.

   A must stop if visiting Lexington. Fried chicken never tasted so good and outdoor bar is amazing.

   Everything was outstanding. Two in our group had the prime rib special, three had the fried chicken and one had a ribeye. The food was wonderful and the fried chicken lived up to its reputation. Our waiter Ryan was incredibly friendly, efficient and left us wanting for nothing. Drinks were served within minutes of ordering. We were all very impressed. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Wonderful experience.

   Salad came out immediately. Took an hour for steak to be on table. Table of 8 next to me .. 2 complained about steak being overcooked and sent back then complained too rare when second one was brought out . All the while im waiting on mine. Felt like my steak (med rare) was given to them . In the meantime a bus with 40 people unloaded and my order evidently got pushed behind theirs.
