Recently included in the 100 Best Local Restaurants 2024 compiled by the Good Food Guide, The Pearl is a charming British restaurant in Prestwich Village serving beautifully presented dishes in a relaxed, intimate dining room. Volta is a neighbourhood restaurant and bar located at the heart of Burton Road in West Didsbury. We serve a menu of small plates inspired by international travels. You can eat & drink on our cosy terrace to the front or enjoy the chic decor and vintage bistro style ambience inside.
Please note, on Sundays we serve our Sunday roast menu.
Our outside covered terrace offers heaters and a covered canopy, hosting the full range of drinks and food.

    Higher Ground is a British bistro and bar located in Manchester city centre that focuses on seasonality within the UK using produce sourced from local suppliers and producers.
    The restaurant is open Wednesday to Saturday at dinner and at lunchtime on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
    At lunch a £40pp seasonal sharing menu is offered alongside an à la carte menu. At dinner, both an à la carte and a seasonal sharing menu at £60pp are available. Both menus are available when sat at the kitchen bar counter.
    We often hold space for walk-ins at the kitchen bar counter so pop by and have some plates and a glass of wine!
    Reservations of up to twelve guests are accepted via the OpenTable online reservation platform. For parties of 7x guests and over, the seasonal sharing menu is served.

All our dishes are freshly prepared on the premises and great care is taken to ensure that only the finest locally sourced ingredients are used.
This is complemented by an extensive range of cask conditioned beers, guest beers, lagers and ciders as well as fine wines and spirits.
Children 17 and under are welcomed but due to licensing they must vacate the premises by 9pm.

    SCHOFIELD’S BAR graces the corner of Sunlight House, one of the most iconic buildings in the north of England.
    The art deco masterpiece of architect Joseph Sunlight was the tallest building in Manchester upon completion during the 1930s, a decade of great importance for cocktail culture. An era of grand and luxurious bars, known for their hospitality and classic cocktails.
    Please note that we are only able to accept a handful of reservations each day as we are a walk-in led venue so please do not be put off visiting us if you are unable to reserve. All reservations are only guaranteed 2 hours at the table.
