Las Vegas visitors and residents alike know that Michael's gourmet room is one of the finest restaurants in all of Las Vegas. For over 20 years, this intimate, 50-seat gourmet room has earned accolades galore.

Michael's awards have included being named one of the Top 5 Restaurants in Las Vegas by the Zagat Survey. It received the Four-Diamond Award for Exceptional Cuisine, Excellent Service, and Elegant Dining Atmosphere from the American Automobile Association, the Award of Excellence from Distinguished Restaurants of North America, and the Finest Gourmet Restaurant recognition from the Las Vegas Review-Journal Readers' Poll.

Dining at Michael's is an experience of a lifetime. One of our guests told us that his dinner at Michael's was better than the meal he had eaten the week before at the White House!

                                                                                                          We celebrated my birthday with 6 courses, all delicious. The wine list is vast. The waiters were top-notch and very very nice. It made for a special evening and I'm grateful for that.

                                                                                                          Michael’s is a fun experience with all the table side services. I ordered the smaller filet, my wife ordered the Dover sole. We split a salad and the au gratin potatoes. Salad was great. My wife loved her fish. I liked the filet, but I could do with a bit harder sear and more salt on my medium steak. The steak itself was nicely prepared to medium and very tender. It was our anniversary, so they gave us a large slice of a complimentary cake which was very good as well. We ended up taking a lot of leftovers home. If you want a fun experience at an old school steakhouse, definitely give Michael’s a go!

                                                                                                          Overall the experience at Michael’s was incredible. Unfortunately we were the only people dressed appropriately while we were led to believe that dress code was necessary. Shorts and tee shirts are not proper attire in any of the south point fine dining restaurants. Either enforce the dress code or do away with it.

                                                                                                          One word captures our dining experience: SUPERB! We celebrated my husband’s 83rd birthday. From the moment we arrived until we departed we were treated like royalty. The food was excellent, visually appealing and tasting great: our compliments to the chef. The service was impressive. The dining pace good, our water and ice tea glasses topped off before they could get empty. We started with the relish tray accompanied bybread and crackers and cream cheese. Ordered appetizers: Maryland crab cake (all crab, very little bread crumbs) and escargo followed by house salad prepared table-side and delicious onion soup; entrees (lobster, Dover sole, and bone-in fillet) with sides of creamed corn and asparagus. Between the appetizers and entrees a server brought house made sorbet with Don Perrion poured over it to cleanse our pallet. Complimentary slice of chocolate Freeds’ bakery cake candle lit was presented to my husband. He shared, it was DELICIOUS too 😊. I enjoyed the cake with hot chamomile tea. Next came chocolate covered petit fours, a huge fresh fruit bowl and foil-covered chocolate mints. The best yet, we had left overs to take home and enjoy today. Thank you Michaels!
