6 seniors gathered on a Thursday morning, shortly after the restaurant opened at 11am. Needless to say, we were greeted and seated quickly. Our servers, Sophia & her trainee, Sophia, promptly took our drink orders while we reviewed the extensive menu. The Sophias returned with our beverages and told us about the daily specials, then took our orders - lobster rolls, grilled shrimp, and the daily special Onion Burger! Though we weren't in a hurry, it did seem to take a while for the food to arrive BUT it was worth the wait! We were all very happy with our choices. The Sophias were very friendly and accommodating. It's a beautiful setting so close to the harbor, and had it not been for the wind gusts that morning, we would have loved to be outside. It's easy to see why this restaurant is so popular with great food and a serene setting!

Service was poor, Table was sticky, It took 10 minutes to get a drink. We were going to a music venue and only had 1 hour. After 50 minutes told them we were leaving. they said the food was ready we explained our deadline and wanted it to go. they boxed it up and we were on our way. The food was less than expected, it looked like they just dumped in a to go box. it did not match the description on the menu and taste was below average.\ We will not be back.

I tried to reach out to the venue via email and instagram. They did not respond. Food was terrible, like so bad I didn't want to write this review. I wanted to get their thoughts first, but they didn't respond so here is the messages I sent them: Good morning. I found your email via facebook and wanted to reach out before I put. my review out. My goal is to be fair and speak to you before I would put a negative experience out there. We all have bad nights and should be able to rectify them prior to being public. I took my family to Sail Loft on Saturday and had a questionable experience. The service was good however the food was not. Our experience: We ordered two lobster rolls and they were inedible. The protein was chopped up so heavily that I did not recognize any lobster (It looked like Krab (faux crab)). I do have a photo for reference if wanted. More so, there is such heavy use of Fennel that it overpowered the flavor. I am not sure if it was accidentally used instead of celery? It appeared to be Krab and fennel. I was told the special of the night was Grouper however I was served Tilapia instead. It was not Grouper. (The kitchen was out of Mahi and Grouper was to be substituted) It was also heavily salted and then Old Bay was added to make the dish overly salted. It was overcooked, super salty and oily. The 4th dish was the shrimp tacos which were good. The french fries and green beans were good also. My cocktail was gin and rosemary. (the rosemary was old as it was blackened, it should have been discarded.) We were having a nice family night and I was taken aback, so I chose to not ask for the manager at that time. I wanted to reflect and hear your thoughts first. To summarize, two of four dishes were inedible, 1 was the wrong protein. Please share your thoughts.

The food was good and the view of the Harbor was beautiful. The service was okay. I had to ask for condiments and napkins which a good server to me would ask or bring out with the food or shortly afterwards.

It was our 2nd time at the Sail Loft. It didn't disappoint. The food was great. The service was right on time. Our server, Val, was great. We had a great time with our friends.

It was amazing, service very nice food delicious beautiful right by the water I would definitely go back there and definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone else.
