Waited 10-15 minutes to get seated after reserved time and could not tell us if we would be seated on patio as requested a week earlier.

Can't beat the service and environment. Luau was going on across the property, so we got to hear some of the music from the show. All of the food was fabulous, with the mushrooms being a surprising standout. We also really loved the Wagyu roll (tableside searing) and shrimp. Extensive but pricy wine list.

The most amazing experience. They made us a roll that was only on the dinner menu for lunch. We had some of the best customer service. Definitely go for dinner and have the A5 wagyu roll.

I wanted to love Morimoto’s, but it didn’t blow me away. Our waiter was excellent, with good service all night. The gyoza app was very good and the few pieces of sushi we had were fresh and well prepared. The wagyu carpaccio was not good. Meat was tough and it did not look appealing. The sushi rolls were good, but no better than what I could get anywhere else. They never changed out our plates or silverware between courses until I asked and the coffee I ordered was served barely warm. A restaurant of this “caliber” and cost needs to show better attention detail. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things, but we felt it should have been better.

Two of us chose the Omakase to get some variety, and we’re glad we did. The sushi dishes (which they tout) were disappointing. Plain, regular fish you can get anywhere and rice parts of nigiri were too large and dry. Waiter remarked they didn’t get local fish (why?). Sake selection was excellent, and the wait staff works hard to execute. Serving tourists—young families, cranky tired, hungry folks, and new and experienced couples, it’s a challenge. They did as best as they could to make everyone happy. Overall, I think the prices are expensive, even considering the location, and the kitchen could up its game to match it. You’ll be disappointed with the sushi so sample lightly and go with the other options.

A very good dining experience. The food was well prepared and presented. I recommend the black cod and suck fried rice. A good meal for the price.

We had a great waiter, but the tables were so close together that it was hard to have good conversations. The food was... okay... If you are staying at the hotel its a good choice, but I would not waist your opportunity to eat at somewhere great- just to eat here.
