Morimoto's contemporary Japanese menu infuses traditional dishes with Western ingredients and preparation techniques. His seasonal and ever-changing selection of raw fish preparations will feature the freshest seafood available as well as locally grown fruits and vegetables from supporting farmers. Morimoto's signature offerings include Toro Tartare, presented in a small tray with condiments including crème fraîche, wasabi, avocado, nori paste, chives, crispy rice, and dashi-soy. Tuna Pizza made with raw tuna, anchovy aioli, and jalapeno; Morimoto Sashimi, a terrine of seared Toro, smoked salmon, barbequed eel, tuna and Hamachi served with five different sauces in pipettes.

We have been dining at this location for years. We will not be in the future. When they first reopened after Covid their menu was super limited and expensive. It is still super limited and ridiculously expensive. The waiter paid very little attention to us. We ordered the tuna appetizer that used to come on a slab. It is now a blob in a microscopic bowl accompanied by a tiny plate with teeny tiny droplets of the "sauces." We asked for more sauce and two more tiny plates with teeny tiny droplets on them arrived! The sushi is priced per piece and the price point is crazy high.The "flair" is gone here. It felt like the food was slammed together and served as quickly as possible. We told the server to please slow the dinner down a bit, no one cared. This is now a very corporate feeling place. skip it.

Food was fantastic. Glad we came back to a former favorite over trying a new spot. We ordered tuna tacos, sticky ribs and the surf and turf. Would order all again. Service was great too.

Food was not as expected unfortunately. Wait staff was kind and knowledgeable. Drink order was the best part of our dinner.

Napa’s best for us No one spoils us like the staff of Morimoto Greeted by Leilani and hooked us up with our fave server Amir. Game changer. Edith and Ida were fantastic too. Fun crowd tonight. Thank you Morimoto

We’ve been to Morimoto so many times over the years, and it’s almost always been exceptional. I’m sad and sorry to say it has significantly fallen off. First of all, quality of the fish was way off, which was strange. The basics were also not it, miso was bland and the duck fried rice was awful. What happened?
