Conveniently located 8 miles south of Old Town Alexandria and 16 miles from Washington, D.C., this is one of Washington’s best- kept secrets for romantic evening dining. Admission to Mount Vernon is not required to dine.

    Everything was delicious! We ordered Jambalaya, Turkey Pot Pie, French Onion Soup, Shrimp Roll. We would all order them again!

    Thirty-three years ago we had our wedding reception here and it was wonderful. When making our reservation we were asked if it was a special occasion and we put anniversary. Our server was wonderful! The drinks were good. The food was nothing to write home about. We got the baked brie appetizer which was good. However the crackers that were served with it were stale and some were broken. We were seated in a very busy room, however we were the only customers seated in that room. It was between the bar and a private event. People were constantly walking through the room. Nothing that we were celebrating our anniversary on the reservation wasn't even acknowledged. Such a sad experience!

    It was so personal and thank you for making available the Blue Room. It was quiet enough for my 83 yr old mother with hearing aids to hear all our dinner conversation, esp with a table in the corner. Waiter was fabulous as well! Can’t wait to return again soon.
