Mr. B's Bistro, a New Orleans restaurant famous for its Creole cuisine with a focus on fresh regional products, is located in the heart of the French Quarter at the intersection of Royal Street and Iberville. This corner is a New Orleans landmark and celebrated food corner. Considered the original New Orleans gourmet bistro, Mr. B's Bistro is owned and managed by Cindy Brennan, a member of the legendary New Orleans' Brennan Family.

    I got the wooden grilled red fish and it was amazing. For dessert I got the crème brûlée, it was good. The service was excellent! I loved it!

    Our entrees were over cooked. mentioned it to server and continued on with our dinner.Had bread pudding for dessert, was hard and dry. Called it to the server's attention. he said" what do you want me to do, I didn't make it". Being surprised at this, I didn't reply.he said he'd take it off of thebill. From then on, he was curt, unresponsive. The " canned" repartee ..gone..made us wait an unreasonable time to validate the pkg ticket. brought it to table, we thanked him and got silence and a grim look in return. Our $ 220 dinner left us disappointed and kicking ourselves for having gone there!

    Add a couple of stars; 5 are not enough. Outstanding food, great service and a fantastic bite of New Orleans atmosphere and ambiance. The seafood gumbo is the best you can find anywhere, and the grilled pompano ( with crabmeat ) was delicious. Mr. B’s is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in New Orleans, or anywhere on the planet.

    Mr. Bs is our go to when in NOLA. The barbecue shrimp is to die for and is the only thing we order. You won’t regret it!
