The Assembly House is a gorgeous Georgian gem perfectly located in the heart of Norwich. We set out to create the kind of establishment we'd love to find in one of the UK's most beautiful cities, one where old-fashioned hospitality is valued, food is delicious and where beautiful surroundings can be found hidden around every corner.From breakfast where we serve our unique Beforenoon Tea - the breakfast edition of afternoon tea - to lunch which includes Assembly House classics and grazing boards, we're open seven days a week. We're most famous for our themed afternoon teas which change regularly and are served from noon until last service at 3.30pm daily. As the Home of Afternoon Tea, we also serve some spectacular savoury versions of tea, including Beforenoon Tea, seafood option Afternoon Sea and our cheese-based option Afternoon Cheese. Please let us know your dietary adaptations for vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free or vegetarian teas at least 24 hours in advance.

Pho Norwich is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant with loads of vegan and gluten free options. We specialise in pho, the Vietnamese noodle soup, and also serve delicious curries, rice dishes, wok-fried noodles and healthy salads, too. The Belgian Monk opened in December 2000. The main objective was to create something different yet to fit in with the way drinking and dining is changing. It has become a successful and established bar and restaurant, offering customers a choice of a regular selection of some 45 beers together with a selection of special beers. The menu is based on serving only the best products available freshly prepared daily, at realistic prices, in an informal relaxed "friends and family" atmosphere. It provides more than just the meal or drink but a whole Belgian experience.     Had a fantastic birthday meal with my family this evening. Everyone was great from arrival to leaving. I'm sure one lady never goes home as she is always in when we eat during the day too. This was our first evening visit. Food was always hot and plentiful. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for my cake and the singing. I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

    The service was polite, friendly and professional as always. My friend and I had a pot of tea each. I enjoyed cheese scones with a delicious apple chutney and wedge of chesse. My friend had an enormous slice of carrot cake which she delcared moist and extremely tasty. The general ambience and decor is wonderful, esepcially beautiful with all the Christmas decorations. The Assembly House Hotel recently catered for a gathering to celebrate my late mother's life. Again the service and attention to detail was just wonderful. The food was delicious and we were extremely well looked after. I would thoroughly recommend The Assembly House for any occasion. You will not be disappointed.
