Having retired from Pelipeli in 2018 he has returned to his original location at Vintage Park with his latest concept The Chefs Table. went as a celebration and to spend some time with friends moving out of the area. We were there almost 3.5 hours. From the arrival theu all aspects of the dinner the service was exceptional. \n\nwe started with the crabcakes, and steak tots. Bothere were very good. I haven't had tota like that before and they are very good. I highly recommend. \n\nMy wife and I decided to have the Texas Waygu. I wanted to try the authentic Japanese wagyu but a little pricey for this occasion. (It was actually less per oz than another 5 Tar steak house). For side we have sauté spinach, asparagus and Brussel sprouts. Our guest had the Ribeye and Filet. Agreat meal. Even the House Cabernet was better than most restaurants' top. vintage. \n\nFor dessert we split the creme brulee and a white chocolate cheesecake with raspberry reduction. The cheesecake was good but the creme brûlée was likely the best I have had for a long time. Paul Friedman is a Master Chef with over 40 years of experience in the restaurant industry,having owned and operated over 50 successful restaurant concepts in South Africa, Germany, and the U.S. Paul began his career as a manager and worked his way up to franchise owner, then Director of Operations.He opened Paul's Pizza Shops - a nationally recognized pizza concept in Northwest Houston, Texas in 1994. Paul later developed a new concept, becoming the Executive Chef, CEO and partner at Peli Peli - a nationally recognized South African Fusion Restaurant which opened in 2009 in Houston, Texas. Having retired from Pelipeli in 2018 he has returned to his original location at Vintage Park with his latest concept The Chefs Table.Chef Friedman says this is by far my best creation yet and I hope to leave a legacy here for my children and grandchildren to be proud of.

The plains of Southern Brazil are filled with grazing cattle enjoying the vast pastures. These cattle are the source for the famous and centuries old Brazilian “Churrasco” barbecues. It was at these gatherings where Brazilian cowboys or “gauchos” would prepare large pieces of meat and slowly cook them over open flame pits. Our traditional gaucho chefs still follow these traditions to preserve the flavors of each cut of meat. We feature unlimited tableside service of different cuts of beef, pork, lamb, and chicken. We also feature a gourmet salad bar, and various traditional side dishes to complement the meats. You can control your service with a small green and red-sided card. The green side tells the gaucho chefs to bring out skewers of sizzling meats to the table while the red signals a stopping point. To re-start service, simply display the green side again.

We went as a celebration and to spend some time with friends moving out of the area. We were there almost 3.5 hours. From the arrival theu all aspects of the dinner the service was exceptional.
we started with the crabcakes, and steak tots. Bothere were very good. I haven't had tota like that before and they are very good. I highly recommend.
My wife and I decided to have the Texas Waygu. I wanted to try the authentic Japanese wagyu but a little pricey for this occasion. (It was actually less per oz than another 5 Tar steak house). For side we have sauté spinach, asparagus and Brussel sprouts. Our guest had the Ribeye and Filet. Agreat meal. Even the House Cabernet was better than most restaurants' top. vintage.
For dessert we split the creme brulee and a white chocolate cheesecake with raspberry reduction. The cheesecake was good but the creme brûlée was likely the best I have had for a long time. I think the wider thin bowl allowed it to be so exceptional.
I highly recommend for special occasions, business dinners with clients.
On my next visit I will try the Japanese aged lamb chops.
