The waitress took our order and was very polite, calm and efficient. We had a party of 8 including a child and all have said it was one of the best places they have eaten in a long while at lunchtime. Food was exceptional especially the fish and chips it was so fresh and the batter was lovely and light along with a variety of sauces and homemade chunk chips. The seating area was Warm and cosy next to the log fire. We got to speak to the owner who is also the chef.
