Bluegrass is a casual restaurant located in Highland Park. With a cozy setting nestled into the west side of town it is a true destination dining location. Complete with a warm friendly bar and an American flare, Bluegrass blends in a little Southern influence into its repertoire. The wine and beer selections are all American, along with a full back bar, all hand selected to echo the quality of the fare.     We were able to take advantage of that wine time menu which included tempura shrimp. I had the jambalaya which was prepared perfectly. Our waitress Marlen took excellent care of us making certain that everything we needed was there before we asked. This place is amazing.

    LOVE the supper Club Menu that the restaurant offers!!!What a great offer, plus the food choices are outstanding for under $30. This will be our favorite lunch stop when we're in the area.

    Used to be my all time favorite restaurant. When we first started going to Wildfire, my horseradish crusted fillet was $36. It’s now $58. I’m sure it was at least 20 years ago, but that is one outrageous increase in price. It prevents us from going to the restaurant more often than we do. Now if we go once a year, it’s just a special treat. We used to go a lot more often. However, times, Covid, etc. are all reasons we can’t go more often anymore. I do believe the prices are totally outrageous. So sad.

    Always a pleasure and a treat to dine at Bluegrass. The hosts are so gracious, the food is always delicious, and the service is excellent. Our favorite dishes are the orange chicken and the smoked chicken which is a Tuesday night special. The latter is served with the most scrumptious corn pudding. Our friend had the tilapia which she really enjoyed. You can't go wrong with any menu choice there.
