A nice experience for lunch, only thing that was a bit strange was they don’t seem to have the heating on . Seemed quite cold in there.

On a very cold day, the Pub was warm and cosy. Not overly busy but not expected in early January. Service was very good, food was good as usual. It’s a lovely traditional pub restaurant and serves tasty homemade food at decent prices. Also dog friendly. Very recommended.

Lovely service, well-kept beer (nibbler, moongazer tonight) and fish and chips - buy one get one half price in Jan 👍

Very quiet at The Buck, to be expected so soon after Christmas. Really perfect time to catch up with an old friend. Great service from our waitress and fabulous food. It was very nice to be able to park easily in the car park, it's usually rammed which says a lot for how popular a place it is.

Our party enjoyed the Peter Pan afternoon tea. It was excellent!! One of the party is gluten and lactose intolerant and they were provided with a separate stand of food. Their items looked exactly like the other one. Service was efficient and the staff were extremely friendly. A beautiful setting.
