Lorenzo’s features Northern Italian fare with a touch of contemporary flavor. Look to our menu for some of the classics as well as some modern Italian cuisine less prevalent on The Hill. Café Napoli is a family owned restaurant, established in 1989 by Tony and Kathy Pietoso. Quickly becoming a success, they moved the small basement restaurant to a larger location at the corner of Forsyth and Bemiston in the heart of Clayton. In 2003, sons Ande and Kye expanded their family restaurant by adding Bar Napoli, a swank cocktail lounge. A few years later, Napoli Reserve was added onto Bar Napoli allowing for private event space and an additional bar and lounge for the weekends. After years of a flourishing business, Kathy and Tony decided to take their ventures West to Town and Country where they opened their second location, Napoli2, managed by Ande. Kye has taken the reigns from his father and is now the front man for the 8,000 square foot establishment in Clayton. Café Napoli and Bar Napoli have recently undergone a face lift inside and out. Inside the kitchen, Executive Chef from Napoli2 Jon Berger was recently added to the team, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to the regional Italian specialties.

Dominic and Jackie Galati purchased Dominic's on the Hill in 1971 and moved in above the restaurant. Within two years, Dominic began winning national awards and has continued to do so for the last 40 years. This is an exceptional restaurant with fine Italian cuisine, professional, friendly service, & an extensive wine list. Dominic oversees the kitchen,and the menu includes fresh seafood, veal, tenderloin, lamb, and many other choices. The restaurant has a Florentine atmosphere, with low lighting, white tablecloths, & classic oil paintings. Dominic's has been honored by DIRONA, 2001 Restaurant Hall of Fame, 1999 International Award of Excellence, The Epicurean Award & was voted one of the two best Italian Restaurants in the country by Conde Nast Traveller.     We had a group of 6 and the experience was wonderful. Our servers, Wendy and Emma, were excellent! They were attentive and joked around with us throughout the night. We had a nice private room in the back, so our group was able to enjoy the evening with some privacy. The food was delicious and the drinks were great! Overall, one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in many years!

    We’ve been here about 5 times. Drinks and service has always been excellent. But the food has been very average. They did a menu change since the last time we went, and everything we got was amazing! The food is now back on par with their service and drinks. Excited to go back again!

    Hands down, Ramsey’s kitchen has been the best Saint Louis restaurant experience I have had thus far. From the food, to the ambience and passionate staff, this place is a cut above. Given I went on a Monday night for my birthday, the place was quiet, tranquil even- with breathtaking views of the Saint Louis arch and Mississippi River just outside. Yes it is expensive but you can tell care has been taken. Lastly, I’d say this is a great place for EVERYONE to at least try once.

    We were seated in Brass Bar. Same menu but quieter. Our waitress, Jessica, was fantastic. The food, as always, was perfect.
