The Hop Vine formerly the ‘Royal Hotel’ was built in 1874 and was the main stopping off point for goods being transported to and from the old Turnpike road the A59. The Royal as it was known has served the community and travellers alike. I brought my uni friends here and they all enjoyed the food and the experience. It was lovely, nice destination h area and plenty of room. The waitress was very attentive and we had a very enjoyable lunch.

Food was good and came out quickly, Joe was helpful with reccomendations for beer, cask was good just wish there was a little more range but they said that's getting bigger soon. Overall great evening and would 100% reccomend!
