Our dinner last night was totally different ( positively amazing)! We started downstairs at the Copper Room Bar (great drinks and great ambiance and very versatile bar tender). We then upstairs to the restaurant and was given a choice table and an additional scotch which we had in the Copper Room. The dinner ( veal shanks and a wedge) was absolutely delicious! We were treated to ice cream and homemade carmel sauce ( again very yummy). The Hotel Sutter Restaurant has renewed our faith in coming back. Thank you staff at the Hotel Sutter Restaurant. My filet mignon was cooked just the way I like it! Seared on the outside and a perfect medium on the inside! We had the toasted pecan cheesecake for dessert! Servers were very good, but a longer wait for the food was probably going to be expected as there was a large group in the "party room" as well as the restaurant was very busy. Especially since Bennett's finally listened and stopped chilling the red wines! That made no sense at all!
