Mamma Roma is an authentic Italian restaurant located at 4/7 Antigua Street Edinburgh. Situated very close to the Edinburgh Playhouse, this restaurant is not only great for Pre-Theatre diners but also has a delicious and extensive choice of menus to satisfy all customers. The restaurant can also be found within a 10 minute walk of Princes Street Gardens and a convenient 5 minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley train station. Mamma Roma’s restaurant is spread over multiple floors. The main dining area is decorated in Tuscan farmhouse style with paintings and medallions embellishing the walls. Special attention is given to the elaborate list of pasta and pizza delicacies and a bowl of gelato or a plate of tiramisu helps to round off a meal on a savory note.

North American influenced food, with quality locally sourced ingredients! Note that last bookings for breakfast are 11am and first bookings for all day menu are 12pm. This gives a chance to reset and get ready for our all day menu.There are now parking restrictions within the marina, we will validate your parking for you in order for you to get your parking for free.     This was probably one of the best lunches I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. I have been to an Ivy restaurant before in Windsor on my last trip to the UK but I don't remember it being quite this good. The food was extraordinary, service impeccable, and because I was by myself, I was able to observe the staff and how they operate. It was so fascinating watching such a well-oiled machine. I used to work in hospitality and it was a delight to watch. Mimi was incredible and so wonderful to chat with, she even picked up that I was Canadian, not American. The dessert was to die for as well. The whole experience really made my day. Not to mention the decor of The Ivy is just incredible. Even the bathroom was amazing. Highly recommend this chain if you are ever in UK, they have many locations to choose from. Cheers.

    Lovely place. Nice and clean. Excellent food. Good atmosphere. Lovely staff. The only down side is the toilet is in a wee cabin at the side. But it's warm and clean and tidy. Highly recommend booking as it can get very busy. There's limited seating indoors. But plenty out door seating. Don't worry. There's space heaters so you don't get cold.
