Since 2021 Settlers Bay Lodge earned many awards such as ranking in the top 3 for Best; Restaurant, Appetizer, Seafood, Steak, Atmosphere, Company Party Venue, and Place to Go on a Date by the Frontiersman! Executive Chef, Nathan Michaud has crafted a lovely menu that caters to many palettes. The crispy cajun calamari is a favorite, as well as the hand cut steaks with signature butter! Boasting an expansive wine, beer, whiskey, and cocktail menu a pairing can be made with any dish. This casual fine dining experience comes with an Alaskan atmosphere adorned by brown bear, moose, caribou, and much more.     The food at Simon and seaforts is great. We had the crab artichoke dip as an appetizer. The members of our party had the halibut, fish and chips, the salmon, BLT, a sandwich, and the Cobb salad with chicken. Everyone was very pleased. The service was outstanding. Our waiter was extremely attentive, but not over bearing. And today our view of Mount Susitna and the inlet was outstanding.

    Enjoyed our last visit. Exceptional service with regular but not too frequent check-ins from the wait staff. Meals prepared as requested. Will return again and again!

    Really nice, interesting food & cocktails, and great service. A tad on the pricier side (about $25 per plate/bowl) but the food quality and setting makes W&R great for a special night out or a date night! Loved the ambiance! It’s clear the owners take pride in offering a dining experience in a modern, beautiful setting that is clearly well cared for. Of course, Alaskans can feel just as welcomed in a nice shirt and jeans as they would in a cocktail dress or a suit.

    As far as my wife and I are concerned. Overall, Everits is the best restaurant in the Mat-Su Valley.
