Nestling beside Seaton green and just 50 yards from the beach, The Smugglers Inn is a family and dog friendly pub that prides itself on offering a traditional selection of classic pub fayre, cooked by our enthusiastic team of chefs, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.Along with the classics, we have a continually updated Specials Board where our chefs love to show their flare and creativity.The highlight of our culinary week is undoubtedly our Sunday Carvery. Routinely described by our regular customers as ‘The best roast in the area’, with a selection of 4 roast meats, crispy roast potatoes, an amazing selection of 7 vegetables, plus homemade Yorkshire puddings and gravy, it is a truly sumptuous feast to end your week!Vegetarians are also well catered for, with many of our dishes available with a vegetarian option, including our carvery which comes with TWO homemade vegetarian choices – a delicious nut roast and a vegan lentil roast.

In 2017 Holly and Ali moved down to Plymouth for a new life away from London. Passion for all things pizza and years of hospitality life brought about Knead pizza.Starting in Plymouth market and honing our skills to try and work out our perfect pizza. We moved into The LHA garden in 2019 due to that thing we wont mention and started cooking with flame. We got ever closer to cracking and adapting the truest of neopolitan style dough into a perfectly soft, neo neapolitan light and flavoursome crust.Now after a stroke of luck we’ve moved to the amazing Prysten House 1498. It’s one of the oldest buildings in Plymouth built by Thomas Yogge, with a real Tuscan villa vibe and courtyard, Grade 1 listed and also the inspiration for Yogge our new pizza pal.

The dome-shaped venue on the Hoe, aptly named The Dome, was designed by architect Tony Irish. The Dome was first opened in July 1988 as part of Mayflower commemorations in Plymouth and started life as a local museum and tourist information centre.Designed to have the Art Deco feel and opulence of a 1930s ocean liner, the venue’s bar will feature an extensive wine and gin list, a selection of cocktails plus a full range of beers, ciders and soft drinks.The restaurant’s menu will feature fresh, local and seasonal produce and will include fish sourced from local day boats. We will also be offering traditional afternoon teas.There will be opportunities for private dining, small weddings and business meetings – all set against a spectacular ocean view backdrop!

    I booked a table for my boyfriend’s birthday yesterday and as soon as we stepped inside - the whole place was SO cute!! I originally saw that a friend of mine had gone and thought it’d be a perfect date/bday meal and it truly was! The waitresses were so lovely I didn’t get their names but the girl taking our order was so sweet and the girl bringing us our food was also so sweet, lovely hospitality and vibes from them!! We were sat by the well and omg was so cool the whole area was amazing and the pizza UNREAL! I recommend the BBQ one and if they offer a Hot Honey Dip then get it, life changing!! 10/10 experience and hopefully will come back!

    Tried The Longstore after it was recommended by a colleague. First impression was great, a large woodburner keeping it warm, comfortable chairs and a very nice staff. Although the music was to our taste, it was a tiny bit too loud but they happily turned it down a notch on request. The food was outstanding. We had scallops to start, then Rib Eye steak. I asked to have an extra salad rather than the bits that came with the steak and I must say it was the most delicious salad I have ever had and a massive portion too! I hardly ever tip, but today they got a well deserved 10%. Definitely going back!

    Lovely friendly service right from arrival, cosy atmosphere with candles and lighting and fab Christmas trees. Food was outstanding, we had roast pork and it was gorgeous . Certainly will be going back and will highly recommend.😀
