Today, this affluent area is better known for its beauty and natural purities aligned with stylish cafes, galleries and wonderful street-food.With family and a history in Colombo, our aim is to bring a taste of our Sri Lankan heritage to Buckinghamshire, England through our unique menu based upon old family recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. Richard has been the custodian of The Potters Arms for over 8 years now, before taking over The Potters Arms his background has been 25 years in the Independent Restaurant trade, working with fresh food, searching and building relationships with the finest suppliers in the area to make sure that the food served from the kitchen is consistently the best it can possibly be.We have just built a terrace bar which will be open for brunch and crepes, coffees, Ice Cream, Slush Cocktails & Pizzas.Bill the Head Chef at The Potters has come in and taken over the position and his idea is that The Potters Arms being a Classic British Pub, our Menu should replicate that with lots of homemade pub classics, however with his culinary skills he will introduce a Daily Specials Menu that will be superb quality.

    6 of us had dinner at the Bank and we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it. The food is outstanding, both in taste and quality of ingredients. The service was attentive and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Whilst the prices aren't cheap, we all felt it was worth it and it's the perfect place for a special occasion. There has clearly been a big investment in this new restaurant and I wish them every success. Try it - you won't be disappointed!

    Every mouthful of every dish was delicious. The vegetarian options were super and the set Xmas menu was excellent value. The service was friendly but slow - our meal was over three hours long for just three of us and our 7 year old was getting very restless. Ambience was quiet as the tables were spread across multiple rooms but it filled up a little after a couple of hours.

    I have been coming to Shahins Indian Cuisine for the past 3 years and come annually and sometimes within the year. We make the effort to come even living 25 miles from the restaurant. They'e all welcoming, friendly and go above and beyond at serving you and making sure you have everything you need. The environment is calm and not rushed to get you out. The food comes quickly after ordering and to perfection.
