Although we weren't seated right away the wait wasn't no more than 10 minutes as they were very busy with sold out reservations throughout the evening/night. While we waiting they came around with complimentary champagne for everyone, it was great. Food and menu were top tier and we enjoyed ourselves. Is the only place that I go where I never put anything on the steak. No salt or pepper or anything. The way it is seasoned and the way it comes is perfect every time. I’ve been going to J. Gilbert for 25 years and it’s amazing that I’ve never had to send anything back to the kitchen. They are so careful in their preparation and so precise. Such high-quality food.
