Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.     Amazing food. We ordered crushed potatoes, the chicken, fish, lamb and duck - everything was outstanding. Service brilliant - always a very warm welcome. Best by far.

    Devour has always been our favourite restaurant for ambience, decor, staff and service but food has been a bit variable sometimes. We have visited and had great food then another time not so great. The style of food is Italian and a lot of the main courses come with pasta and this has not always been our choice. So we were delighted with the Festive menu which had a great variety of fish and meat dishes without pasta and certainly won our votes. The smoked salmon and prawn roulade was delicious as was the salmon in lobster bisque and the pork chop We had our usual lovely time with great staff and wonderful festive ambience but our visit was vastly improved with the more varied menu Thanks to all and merry Christmas
