North Carolina chef and restaurateur, Jim Noble founded Rooster’s: A Noble Grille with the intention of being relevant without being trendy and to impress without being pretentious. Enjoy the panoramic view of large oaks and a rolling stream from the many window-side tables, or the large, starlight deck. Ryan's Chef creates a tantalizing selection of appetizers such as jumbo lump crabmeat, steamed mussels in garlic butter and white wine, and oysters Rockefeller. Entrees range from thick, juicy steaks and prime rib to the finest grilled fresh fish and live Maine lobster. Choose from the menu or a superb selection of specials offered nightly. Add a cappuccino and a freshly made dessert to seal the dining experience. The restaurant has been locally owned and under the same management since 1981. Ryan's has been awarded the Wine Spectator's "Award of Excellence" and is often featured in national publications. Recently awarded the DiRoNa Award for Distinctive Fine Dining.Please refer to our website for our dress code. It is enforced nightly.

    Always a wonderful wining and dining experience at JOLO, our lunch today was that much more special because we ate in the lovely, intimate, upscale chandeliered EndPosts dining room. During and since Covid, l have made reservations at tables in the outdoor (but contained and heated) small pavilion. The setting and seating there is also upscale, beautiful and comfortable, but being inside EndPosts found us reminiscing many wonderful memories of past events. JW, Eli and and Jerry Ann welcomed us with hugs and greetings. Seeing them is always a treat as they make us feel like family. Seated, we ordered a bottle of our favorite Crimson Creek and our favorite spicy shrimp appetizer. I ordered my usual salmon Scampi dish. Gwen ordered the beef bourguignon. Everything was delicious as usual and we topped it off sharing the light and tasty Key Lime cake. All the servers were attentive and friendly, making us feel like they were really happy to see us. This is my usual experience. JOLO is a very special place and l look forward to my next visit.

    Always a pleasure to dine at Ryan's. Last night it was for my birthday. We always ask for a table by the window and we loved seeing the lighted tree in the woods. Everything was exceptional except for the lighting. It was rather dark at our table when we lost the daylight. We will return again for another special night!

    The service was top notch, even though it was lunch, my waitress and service was equal to night dinning. I had the salmon cakes and they were delicious.

    Wine tasting was very well organized. The young lady was extremely knowledgeable and friendly in her presentation. Could have offered cheeses or chocolates to help distinguish between wines. Crackers were available. The wines are very good.
