BONDST, located in NoHo, is a trendy downtown restaurant with a warm minimalist interior design. The cuisine is new Japanese with European and Asian influences. Bar Primi is a corner pasta shop devoted to ‘primi piatti,’ the pasta course. What began as an idea for a small space in New York's East Village has since become an essential in chef and co-owner Andrew Carmellini's range: fresh pasta traditionally prepared and cooked to order. At Bar Primi, the main course is Primi Piatti. We use a variety of non-GMO semolina and specialty ‘00’ flours, organic eggs and handed-down techniques to create our menu of Traditional and Seasonal pasta dishes. We make more than a dozen different shapes and styles daily. This includes lumache and rigatoni from our imported extruder or ravioli and mezzalune cut and filled by hand. Family recipes and secrets are traded between Carmellini and Brooklyn-born chef-partner Salvatore Lamboglia who also offers a daily meat or seafood special in addition to a selection of shareable Piccolini and Antipasti, artisanal cheese, salumi and simple home-style desserts.

    This cozy spot on the lower east side is very trendy with its gem named cocktails and seasonal menus. It is clearly incredibly popular as tables turn over quickly and there is never an empty seat. The food comes quickly and is deeply flavorful. The menu consists of dishes that can be harder to find, even in a cultural hub like NYC. I do wonder if lunch service is a little less bustling as at times I found it difficult to hear my dinner partner. I also wish they would tell you about the QR code for the food menu as it is on a physical drinks menu and that’s a bit confusing. Overall I’m glad I made it to Soothr and look forward to trying their sister restaurant Sappe soon.

    Are downstairs in the bar. Food was excellent, service was good but a little slow as the bartender had many responsibilities. Very loud! Enjoyed our time.

    The food was delicious! The place has a very nice atmosphere. There was a large party there when we arrived who contributed to some noise level, but after they left, it was fine. I am looking forward to going back.

    Fantastic Brasserie style restaurant when I came several times during my stay in NY. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch. The wine per glass are just outstanding !!!
