The Hind's Head is a traditional country village pub and restaurant serving freshly made food and quality local cask ales. We are a community owned and managed free house in a very picturesque Shropshire village. We have the more traditional areas of the pub with wood burning stoves, as well as a lovely restaurant and welcoming orangery for all our guests to enjoy food, drinks and good company. We offer two wine lists as well as a great selection of cask ales, lagers and ciders. The views from the front of the pub have a perfect picture post card view of St Chad's Church in the centre of the village. While we offer traditional pub classics like freshly made pies and fish and chips, we also regularly offer specials that our chefs create weekly and do a lovely Sunday roast dinner that is extremely popular. On Wednesday evenings we do different foods and events, please call to confirm the theme to ensure it's what your looking for it could be Tapas, Italian, a quiz night.

A quality and relaxing environment, overlooking the golf course at Newcastle-U-Lyme Golf Club. Located in north Staffordshire we are just a short drive from the M6 at Junctions 15. The building and décor are charming and rustic, with elegant modern touches. Our outdoor Terrace is very popular with some wonderful view. A daily menu, all freshly prepared in the kitchen, includes fresh fish, pies, steaks and chef's daily specials with main course prices ranging from £9.50 - £25.50. As all dishes are prepared in the pub kitchen, they are able to cater for most dietary needs.

    Brilliant meal, for a joint 40th celebration. Staff so welcoming, food UNBELIEVABLE. I had a ribeye (outstanding) and my wife had the piri piri chicken which was probably the most tasty and perfectly chargrilled chicken that has ever existed. Creamed spinach and fries both delicious. Brought us a surprise birthday cocktail each at the end too. Thank you so much to everyone at the Hawksmoor for a fantastic treat.

    Fabulous lunch at Lunar today! Or first visit, but we'll definitely be back. We went for the 2 course lunch deal which is great value, but the food was so good that we ordered sides and desserts. The service was helpful and friendly throughout and they did a great job with my mocktail and our half shot lattes (not many places get that right!). Thank you!

    Wonderful menu, plenty of variety, something for everyone. Beautifully presented, delicious, fresh food…..nothing processed here! Able to accommodate a very fussy eater and someone with a small appetite .🤩

    Had an amazing meal here for my 35th birthday service was impeccable as always. Food was absolutely delicious never had a bad experience here they go above and beyond every time.
