Nami Nori is a casual, Japanese restaurant specializing in open-style temaki hand rolls, located in Montclair. The menu features signature hand rolls, including crunchy varieties, as well as classic versions, and a special vegan section. Japanese-inspired dishes from the kitchen and desserts are also on offer. We accept reservations up to 30 days in advance. Please note that the grace period is 10 minutes for guests who are running late. We kindly ask that guests respect our dinner seating times of 1 hr 30 minutes for parties up to 3 and 2 hours for parties of 4-5, and 2 hr 30 minutes for parties of 6 or more. Laboratorio Kitchen offers guests a modern atmosphere paired with seasonal food and tender service. We are a BYOB restaurant. Chef/Owner James DeSisto has a seasonal a la carte menu featuring fresh seafood, pasta, steaks, and appetizers. In addition there is a chef’s special menu featuring local and seasonal food from all over NJ, PA, and NY please keep in mind this menu changes weekly. Chef DeSisto also has gluten free and vegan options for guests as well. Our outdoor patio is weather permitting, if we cannot accommodate outside due to weather we will move you inside depending on availability. Some must try’s are the giant meatball, house made pastas, steak au poivre or our delicious day boat scallops!! Do not skip dessert everything from start to finish will be memorable, so come in and enjoy culinary excellence with us!

    Imaginative bites, that are quite substantial. This is one of our favorite restaurants for the thoughtful treatment of ingredients. Service is attentive but not intrusive and can answer any questions regarding the dishes and preparations.

    The Christmas buffet was a bit disappointing. The overall buffet food was good, but the carving station items of prime rib and turkey were extremely disappointing in comparison to the normal quality of these items on a regular day. The prime rib was served cold and the turkey was dry and overcooked. The normal high quality was definitely not there. Not even the B Team.

    The chicken shish-everyone will love, tender and spicy. The pita bread is so good with their hummus, it's a great start The MANTI with mushrooms is beautifully spiced, the flavor in the sauce is very rich but instantly delicious. I love the Turkish coffee-it's an original. Desserts are lovely, chocolate mousse-exceptional. I'm going back to try new dishes, the menu has a nice variety. Excellent staff, courteous and friendly. I's a big hit!

    The restaurant is beautiful with a cozy atmosphere. Went there twice and both times everything was delicious. The staff is very friendly and the service is wonderful. The spicy tuna nachos are my favorite. The chips are home made and the best i ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant. You wont be disappointed. Enjoy
