Petit Trois Le Valley, the second outpost of Chef Ludo Lefebvre's beloved bistro, opened its doors in 2018 in Sherman Oaks. This larger location channels a lavish French Brasserie, with its marble bar, banquette lined dining room, and a Chef’s counter overlooking the open kitchen. The second dining room can be reserved for larger parties and private events. Since opening, Petit Trois has garnered praise from casual foodies and revered food critics. In 2015, Petit Trois was nominated for Best New Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation and in 2019 earned the Bib Gourmand designation upon the Michelin Guide’s return to Los Angeles.     Everything was exceptional—the food and service were top-notch. However, I ordered the flat iron steak and, unfortunately, I wasn’t a fan and won't be ordering it again. It had a strange flavor, almost like it was marinated in wine or something that didn’t sit well with me. I still ate it for two reasons: I was with my team and didn’t want to make a fuss. But I couldn’t quite place that flavor—no amount of salt could mask it. That said, everything else was fantastic. The calamari was perfectly fried and seasoned. The cheese bread—delicious! And my wedge salad? Wow, you guys loaded it up, and I truly appreciated that! Just the steak I couldn’t finish. Thank you, and happy holidays!

    Daily Grill is one of our favorite local restaurants, and our Thanksgiving meal was quite good. The cocktails were great, the service was excellent (our server was Rick and he was awesome). The food and cocktails are always excellent, the ambiance is always very pleasant and comfortable, the parking is always convenient and simple. Thanks, Daily Grill!
