Timber & Salt is a downtown Redwood City restaurant and bar serving quality steaks, seafood and craft cocktails. Timber & Salt has intimate indoor seating for over 50 guests and an enclosed, heated outdoor patio for up to 30 guests. We are open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday.

    Four of us had a wonderful pre holiday lunch and we are all extremely satisfied customers for close to 20 years. The food was amazing, we began with fried calamari and the cauliflower soup. We shared the branzino (deboned ) sole fish, lamb chops and the chicken souvlaki. For dessert two of us enjoyed Judy's ice cream sundae and an order of galaktourrko and the chocolate cake. Delicious.. Our server Pryush was beyond outstanding, very helpful and extremely pleasant.

    Great service, ambiance, and overall experience! We split some starters (the bread and veggies for the burrata was overcharred but the dish itself was perfect), and had the steak sandwich, Chinese chicken salad, Roasted Chicken, and Zambrini. Every dish was flavorful. Surprisingly the parking wasn’t as difficult as I had feared. I would definitely return. Just make sure to book well in advance!

    Brussel sprouts were amazing as always. We were a group of 4 so we shared the Tomahawk and it was plenty. Drinks were also fantastic with a wide range from spirit forward to pleasantly sweet.
