Lokma, which means “a bite” in Turkish, opened in Feb 2018 and is located in the Outer Richmond. We serve a fresh Californian and Turkish fare while serving our guests with warm hospitality in our bright and open space. Please note that we allow 15 15-minute grace period for reservations, we ask that you please call if you are going to be late. Reservations will be marked as no-shows after 15 minutes. Due to the high number of no-shows and last-minute cancellations, we now have a 24-hour cancellation window for parties of 6 or more. We will require credit card information through OpenTable. There will be a $10 fee for no-shows or late cancellations per person for a party of 6 or more.Your table will be reserved for 1 hour 30 minutes.

Beautiful Modern Mediterranean restaurant by Chefs Laura and Sayat (Star Chefs and San Francisco Chronicle Rising Stars) at the Main Parade Lawn in the heart of the Presidio National Park. The restaurant's menus feature Presidio-inspired seasonal craft cocktails, a progressive wine menu, and a cuisine that balances the comfort of familiar Mediterranean flavors with California sensibilities. In cohesion with the Presidio National Park, the design features soft, natural colors; repurposed furniture items from the Presidio; and a mural and a hand-drawn wall paper by Bay Area artist Emily Parkinson.     We returned for a second visit this holiday season; it was wonderful. Got adventurous and had the creamed corn. I noticed my daughters snuck more than an initial half teaspoon taste. It was very, very good. Not watery creamy. This had a nice texture. Try it! The prime rib was exceptional. I had the smaller portion. One daughter had the thinner slices. One daughter had the regular cut. All were sumptuous! Had a baked potato instead of the mashed. It was yummy. We ordered an apple crisp to share between the three of us. It was delicious with a nice amount of apple slices hidden under the topping and surrounded by the usual warm spices. Our server was great! She was friendly, attentive but didn’t hover. Thank you all for a wonderful evening! I may not be back for a while. Palo Alto daughter is moving to Duarte. CA this summer. If she needs help moving, we’ll have to do a farewell visit at House of Prime Rib. Again, thank you!

    Love this neighborhood restaurant. The staff is so accommodating to anyone’s dietary needs. I have been there for lunch and dinner and will definitely return.

    Food and service were excellent. Lunch: We had Breaking bread (pita with about 6 spreads-don't miss that.) Spring tabouleh which was so unique and much better than what you usually get at mediterranean restaurants. Excellent flavor and texture. Criapy lamb riblets. a stuffed onion dolma which was fantastic. the only dish we were not crazy about was the turkish lamb dumplings in a tomato sauce. Service was impeccable and friendly. Highly recommend this and eat family style so you can taste alot.
