From the food (amazing), the presentation, wine pairings, service, and ambiance, all aspects of this restaurant are outstanding. Chef Ian takes the time to describe each course and almost everything is locally sourced so you are supporting businesses and families in the community. Ian also takes the time to visit each table to ask about your dining experience. The Black Tartan is Carleton Place’s hidden gem, and we absolutely love dining there.
