Since 2012, Fonda La Catrina has been serving up Mexican comfort food and drink with quality ingredients and lots of love. We are a Mexico City style restaurant and bar located in the heart of the lively and loud Georgetown neighborhood in Seattle. Handmade tortillas, chips, salsas, tacos, braised puerco in salsa verde, tamales, mole de Poblano; all made in house by our talented team in the kitchen. Chef Brian Clevenger's second restaurant, located in the Junction in West Seattle, on California Ave just north of Genesee. The focus again is on fresh product, served simply. The menu is Italian inspired, and focuses on locally and sustainably-harvested produce and seafoodIMPORTANT NOTICE: Reservations for Raccolto have been put on hold through the week of August 14th. Due to a critical plumbing incident Raccolto will be closed for reservations until 8/14 to address remodeling and repair issues stemming from the incident. Tex-Mex cuisine began in the Rio Grande Valley before migrating up to San Antonio during the l860's where a group of women known as The Chili Queens' began to pop up in the city's plazas selling chili con carne with tamales, enchiladas, and chili verde. They incorporated cumin into their dishes favored by settlers from theCanary lslands, which still has a strong influence on Mexican food in Texas. Tex-Mex also loves beef, flour tortillas, yellow cheese, fajitas and more.Our inspiration comes from the many classic Tex-Mex restaurants including Sylvia's Enchilada Kitchen, Papasito's, Ninfa's, Blue Goose, Hugo's, Herrerra's Cafe, Chuy's, Valentina's Tex-Mex and many more. Jackalope combines excellent Central Texas-style smoked meats from Jack's BBQ with delicious Tex-Mex dishes. lt's truly the best of both worlds!

    We were Warmly welcomed even as our reservation had to be modified from 5 to 2 due to our friend’s sudden illness. Our cocktails were very good (Manhattans with 2 gourmet cherry accompaniment). My husband’s Cranberry Creek oysters were so delicious he ordered more. My salad of Gem lettuce, blue cheese, sieved egg, soft croutons was generous & tasty. I enjoyed my pasta & would have taken some home but my husband finished it! We couldn’t find room for dessert…. maybe next time.

    Highly recommend Musang for its food and ambiance. Every dish was delicious and creative. The only downside was parking which is, of course, not the fault of the restaurant. Just give time to find street parking. Definitely would go back again!

    JAK says always delivered on the food the service and the ambience. The waiter was extremely helpful,, courteous and very quick about taking our orders and delivering what we requested. I was even visited by the manager. If you haven’t eaten there, you’ve missed an experience. Their steaks are incredibly good, I think better than Ruth’s Chris steakhouse. It is a West Seattle jewel and we frequent it often.

    The Chophouse themed dinner was simply amazing! The Waldorf Salad - so simplistic but one of the best salad courses I may have ever eaten. And the baked potato cart - I splurged for the black truffle add-on. I may never eat a baked potato again because I know it’ll never be this good. Once again all of the staff were so friendly and accommodating to all of my questions. I truly love the laid back atmosphere - hard to believe as always this gem is hidden in White Center.
