With Echo & Rig Chef Sam Marvin has introduced a pioneering new concept transforming the long-held theories behind the steakhouse formula. We put a unique nose-to-tail spin on the traditional steakhouse, allowing diners to indulge in the best cuts of meat for incredibly approachable prices. A butcher before a steakhouse, we use every part of the animal. We care about every animal - how it lived, what it ate, and how it was cared for. Our 7,000 square foot space is located in the Downtown Commons Neighborhood (DOCO) in the lobby of The Sawyer Hotel. Situated on the bustling J Street corridor facing the Golden 1 Center main entrance.     This was my first time at the restaurant. I see why Echo and Rig got many 5 start ratings. The service was top notch. All three of us loved our food. I really like the entire space. We will be back and tell our friends of the wonderful experience we had.

    We specifically selected the Camden Spit & Larder for our Christmas Eve brunch as we'd heard it was the ONLY place ANYWHERE for MILES where we could sample a Scotch Egg and, even though it wasn't on the 12/24 menu, the chef prepared an AMAZING Scotch Egg with a salmon crusted shell. THANK YOU SO MUCH for your gracious hospitality and GREAT food!!! We plan on coming back VERY SOON!!!! Cheers! Jeff Jones

    Our experience was great. Our waiter was very helpful with recommendations of wine and food. The staff was super attentive to us and our table, clearing plates shortly after dishes were finished.

    The food and service at the Firehouse is consistently above average, way above average. The ambience in the main dining room is perfect for us, with music that is pleasant. Most restaurants play music so loud that you either don’t go back, or you run away from. At the Firehouse you can actually carry on a conversation. The food was excellent, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The wait staff is very attentive. We look forward to dining at the Firehouse again and again. Thank you Firehouse for being so reliable.
