I had the absolute BEST birthday celebration ever at the Chart House in Savannah. The restaurant was absolutely beautiful. I got an awesome table by the window overlooking the river. Paige, our server, came over to our table with a big smile, wished me a happy birthday and that really set the tone for the entire evening. I was blown away when she presented us with the menus because right in the center it had said, Happy birthday to the Gomes party- I've never seen that done before. When she served us our cocktails, she prepared the Torched Apple Manhattan table side, it made for a phenomenal presentation. The shrimp, avocado and mango stack was such a unique appetizer and was absolutely delicious. The Mac nut mahi with the mango sticky rice, peanut sauce and mango relish was to die for. It was the best ever. The hot chocolate lava cake along with the house dessert with a candle on it was just icing for my birthday celebration. Kudos to the chef for preparing/creating such unique dishes with beautiful presentations and a wonderful blend of flavors. What really made my birthday celebration "special" was our server Paige with her wonderful sense of humor, awesome personality and an eye for detail. We never had to ask for anything, she read our minds the entire evening and gave us what we wanted before we could even ask for it. That's a real talent she possesses. Thank you Paige for making this such an awesome/memorable birthday celebration for myself, I will never forget it !!!
